Ian Becker Ian first discovered wine the way most of us do -- sitting at the family dinner table, just wanting to do what the adults were doing. Ten years later, he simply wanted to make some extra beer money waiting tables and he had to learn about the wines he was selling. Immediately captivated by the intricate equation it takes to make a great wine, Ian gave up beer for wine ... well, most of the time. Ian is from Cincinnati after all. But it didn't take long to realize a deep interest that has driven him through a wine career that brought him to the Bay Area in 2001. Geography, history, culture, art and science are some of Ian's biggest hobbies (what a nerd!). So it's easy to see why wine has become Ian's life and professional passion.
